The Esso Eastern Club was formed in 1986 to promote and preserve communications, fellowship, and mutual helpfulness among former Esso Eastern Employees and their spouses scattered throughout the world. The Club is not an official body of ExxonMobil and has no authority to speak on its behalf on any issues. Membership in the Club is offered to all ExxonMobil employees, retirees and their spouses who worked for, or were closely associated with Esso Eastern. The Club normally meets at least twice a year holding a Spring and Fall Social primarily at an Asian oriented restaurant in the greater Houston area and plans a Club reunion periodically. The Club membership currently comprises approximately 300 members of whom about 25 members are residing in foreign countries and the remaining members residing in the continental United States. |
